in-House is a synthetic ESG proprietary platform that allows teams to provide 100% anonymous consensus feedback without the use of emails, logins, or personal information.
For this early-stage firm along with the Product Manager and Owner. we Ideated an onboarding user journey for the employees to list their organization on our product. The system will alert your leadership after +15% of your team starts talking using in-House.
Pain Points
Managing expectations
It's rather common for the PO and stakeholders' requirements to change. When I receive requirements, I make sure to do my study and understand what the team is already working on and when the new requirements may be implemented.
Releasing onboarding pages
We struggled to complete the onboarding pages on time. At that point, I informed the client of the design situation, and we were unable to proceed with the release plan. Inconsistent designs were a problem at the time, and they required to be fixed before being sent to the development team. As a result, the release date has been pushed up.

Mind Mapping
Understanding how the product's interactions will operate. Aimed towards people who want to list their companies so they can start using the in-house product.
I worked with a team of 3 designers on this project; in-house had previously set out a splash page, to which I assisted in applying Design Guidelines. I was able to quickly develop a mind map to visualize the user flow with the help of PO, before moving on to wireframing the concepts.
RESEARCH
Competitive Analysis
Evaluated the competitor's functionalities that are similar to in-House. I looked into competitors' window Interstitial Ad layout designs and was able to analyze the data and produce a static layout for mobile window sites for in-house to use.

Wireframing
Created different variations of the 'Beta Trail' page to acquire the client's approval on the designs. I provided the layouts along with the advantages and disadvantages of each version. UX solutions are used to give users control over the product. Each CTA is placed out in such a way that it is simple to see and select. Avoiding any uncertainty about the decision to choose.
We chose the one with CTA 3 which is different from the others to add visual differences. The first two CTA are to use the product to list or join an org. But the CTA 3 is to contact us and get notified which functions just like subscribing for updates.
DEVLOPE

Hand-off to DEV
I produced all of the essential sources for the engineering team to use when constructing the pages before passing them off to the DEV team. Prototypes, user flow charts, and use case diagrams were all made by me (collaborating with the Product Manager). Finally, I supervised a final review of the designs with the owner to accommodate any last-minute modifications. When all of the designs are complete, I create a ticket for DEV and attach all of the necessary materials.
Retrospective
I learned a lot about dealing with startups and how they can have ups and downs. But the most important answer is to communicate feelings and difficulties with the client and team. So that we may come up with solutions to our difficulties as a group.
That is what the in-house staff demonstrated to me, and I was able to feel like I was working in a family setting. Finally, the onboarding page was released, and we were able to go forward with user testing and redesigning.
